BOUND TREE MEDICAL NAMES HARRY LARSON AND JEFF PLUMB TO REGIONAL SALES DIRECTOR ROLE

Dublin, OH – April 24, 2009 – Bound Tree Medical, the nation’s leading provider of emergency medical supplies and equipment to the pre-hospital industry, has announced the promotion of Harry Larson and Jeff Plumb to the newly created role of Regional Sales Director.  These two industry veterans collectively share more than 40 years in the emergency medical services and healthcare distribution field.  They will be responsible for managing Bound Tree’s sales activities across the nation. 

With over sixty Account Managers in the field throughout the United State, these appointments will help steer daily sales activities while lending additional support to Bound Tree Medical’s vendors. “We are pleased to announce the promotion of Harry and Jeff to the position of Regional Sales Director,” said Lindy Joseph, President of Bound Tree Medical.  “Each has proven their ability to successfully manage and grow sales within their respective regions.” 

Larson’s career spans more than 25 years including experience as a paramedic and firefighter within the State of Rhode Island EMS system.  Harry was the Captain of Coventry Fire District in Rhode Island for 21 years.  He holds numerous certifications including serving on the Ambulance Service Advisory Board for the Rhode Island Department of Health.  Since joining Bound Tree in 1992, Harry has held a variety of sales and sales management roles.  His tenure with the company and experience in the fire/EMS field will enable him to successfully lead the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and North Central Sales Regions.

Plumb has gained nearly 15 years of operations and sales management experience at Physician Sales and Services (PSS), Blue Medical Supply and Bound Tree Medical.  Since joining Bound Tree in 2008, Jeff has been instrumental in orchestrating the growth of the Southeast Sales Region.  His leadership and strong sales management background make him the ideal candidate to lead the Southeast, South Central and West Regions within Bound Tree Medical.

Harry and Jeff will manage day-to-day operations of the Sales Department within Bound Tree Medical while working to develop relationships with our manufacturing partners.  They will be instrumental in helping the company continue to bring innovative products and services to the pre-hospital market.
