Job OverviewSarnova is looking for a strong Supply Chain Analyst to join our team. The overall goals for this individual will be to support supply chain projects and systems to optimize customer service levels, inventory investment, and profitability.  This includes inbound and outbound transportation, manufacturing and warehouse operations, procurement efforts cost reduction efforts and replenishment and overall supply chain integration with vendors and customers.
Primary Responsibiltities

-       Perform fact based, data driven analysis and modeling on significant amounts of data across all supply chain functions.


-       Create reports, Excel spreadsheets, pivot tables, or database applications to achieve stated goals.


-       Work with the Global Supply Chain team, and internal or external stakeholders to develop business logic and support new supply chain strategies or projects. 


-       Participate in development and implementation of new processes, policies, and procedures across business units as required by projects.


-       Assist in the development business cases and presentation material for management.


-       Determine and recommend the most appropriate implementation/development model for new supply chain projects and provide necessary project management and/or technical development support to ensure effective implementation.


-       Manage cross-business and cross-functional teams in projects to automate and improve supply chain processes such as: 


-       Spend analysis


-       Sourcing (supplier selection, bidding, negotiations, contracting)


-       Supplier assessment and performance evaluation


-       Collaboration (with supply chain partners)


-       Fulfillment processes (forecasts, PO, acknowledgement, invoice, payment)


-       Inventory management (e.g. visibility, analysis, etc.)


-       Supply chain metrics


-       Transportation (and associated analysis of transportation performance)


-       Knowledge management


-       Proactively work to improve (or expand the use and effectiveness of) existing supply chain systems/applications.


-       Generate timely and accurate reporting on progress toward objectives.

Skills Required
Education

-       Bachelors degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, business administration, information systems, finance or related field required.

Experience Required

-       At least 1 year experience in supply chain management or process improvement.


-       Strong process development and process improvement orientation, experience and abilities.


-       Demonstrated project management ability from conception to completion.


-       Demonstrated history of managing multiple objectives with minimal direct supervision.


-       Knowledge of IT applications including MS Office (including Access), MS SharePoint, Oracle and SQL database programming and administration, and ERP systems.


-       Knowledge of Supply Chain applications and functionality (e.g. warehouse management systems, advanced planning & scheduling, transportation management systems, supply chain event management systems, etc.).


-       Familiar with financial reporting and manufacturing cost processes and systems.


-       Financial analysis/project justification skills.


-       Must have report writing or data export experience.


-       Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.


-       Must have excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.


-       Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
