Bound Tree Medical was founded in 1978 by David Currier in Henniker, New Hampshire. The small medical product supply company of Henniker grew through the 1980’s and early 90’s and merged with ALS, located in Tempe, Arizona in 1995. In 2001, the combined company, known as Bound Tree/ALS, merged with Parr Emergency Products in Galloway, Ohio. Later the same year, the company acquired PMX Medical of Salt Lake City, Utah. In 2002, the company established a strategic relationship with Sunbelt Medical for the supply of pharmaceutical and related products to the pre-hospital marketplace. To further its growth in the medical products industry, Bound Tree Medical and Emergency Medical Products (EMP) merged in 2003. Most Recently, Bound Tree merged with Tri-anim Healthcare Services, Inc. to create the nation’s leading specialty distributor in the emergency medical services (EMS), respiratory and surgical markets.

As a result of the merger in 2008, Bound Tree Medical, Tri-anim Healthcare Services and related companies are now subsidiaries of Sarnova, a new medical products holding company. In late 2008, Sarnova appointed Craig Davenport as CEO of this organization. Craig is a 35-year veteran of the healthcare industry and most recently served as Chairman, CEO and President of Endocare, Inc. Craig and a newly appointed Board of Directors will help guide the continued development of Bound Tree.

Today, Bound Tree Medical is headquartered in Dublin, Ohio – a northwestern suburb of Columbus.
